Un Sábado en la perrera de Infiesto. Los fines de semanas podemos pasear a los perros ya que las cuatro jaulas están dentro del recinto de la nave del ayuntamiento. Así que los pobres salen solo el fin de semana, pero es una gran diferencia con la situación de antes cuando solo salieron adoptados o muertos. Ahora les paseamos, les limpiamos, les llevamos al veterinario, les chipamos y buscamos adoptantes.

The perrera in Infiesto (Asturias, Spain) consists of just four cages at a building yard. The dogs only get out of their cages at the weekends - but at least they get walked and veterinary attention now. Before they only left their cage adopted, or dead. We walk and clean and cure them, take them to the vet if necessary, have them chipped and find people who want to adopt them - sometimes even as far afield as Holland or Germany.
The majority of the about 70-90 dogs that enter the shelter each year get adopted locally though.

Es imprescindible la labor de los voluntarios a la hora de socializar y educar a los perros. Animaros y apuntaros como voluntarios en la protectora de vuestra ciudad.
