Maybe the ending when he burns himself is like, getting rid of the lesser material that this society does to everything. But I listened to this at my grandparents house, all the walks are almost completely glass, but I turned this song on while it was storming, magical

@LTACS After analyzing your original comment, I would have to agree with half of it. Perhaps Vincent was indeed Antoine all along, not literally, but in spirit. If you think back to when his father said "he'll do something" he was really hoping Vincent would live up to what he wanted "Antoine" to be. In the end, Vincent wasn't Antoine, Vincent was as great as Antoine but still Vincent; he made a name for himself. That's perseverance, and that's what this movie is all about. :)

@LTACS Well if you've never seen it, you won't get the comparison. A lot of people over-analyzed the ending to the movie, that's all. I've never really seen anyone over-analyze the end to Gattaca until you.
