Iroc-z with cam and headers

1985 Iroc-z with 305 carbed l69 motor. Mods are comp 218 cam, hooker shorties, cat has been cut and a magnaflow single in dual out. Idk what's with the people yelling in the background but they get drowned out quickly =)

Yeah I broke the cardinal rule: revving it on a cold start. Smokes just a hair on star-up but runs beautifully after that.

Thank you. The cam was the greatest idea I've ever had it really brought the car to life. It's an absolute torque monster now. You can forget traction in 1st and 2nd. But it's a garage queen. 55,000 original miles and the paint and interior show just how well it's been taken care of too.

The correct engine code is the L69. Thank you IROCwarrior for bringing that to my attention.

I must have read the wrong engine code then. It is most definitely a carbed 305. I just rebuilt the Rochester 450 that it came with haha. My mistake on the code though.

Very nice IROC. :) Get some vortech heads next - there are a few write ups of people using them on the 305's. Cams make a good bit of difference...but nothing like a good head swap!
