A track so beautiful, I just had to ruin it with double bass tonight.

Gustavo Santaolalla is an incredible composer and musician; I mean zero disrespect when I sloppily bang sticks against things during his beautiful song. This is one of my favorite tracks from his Ronroco album.

I only wish it were a better play through (I improvised many portions and should really know better), and that I could figure out a more elegant mic solution, as my Roland TD-20 drum brain is shorting and I can't get reliable audio out. Wah.

Hope you all enjoy. Thanks for your ears. And follow me on the Twitter: @kpereira

Sincerely,

Kevin "Cymbal Face" Pereira
