  • Is there any record of the Doboj-Usora

  • @Asuka92500 thanks, this whole war was staged and brainwashed people in bosnia doesn't seem to think that, truth is slow to get to surface and most are still fighting against it. Finally there is documentary that explains it all and is banned in our country because of that if you are interested just type "Wieght of chains" trailer

  • @Asuka92500 It's also the last assault with baillonnettes of the French army since the war in Korea in 1950.

(LATER) The rise to power of Jacques Chirac at the head of the State in 1995, altered the French intervention in Bosnia, which took a more offensive posture. The taking of Vrbanja bridge on may 27th 1995 will be the symoblic recovery of pride for peacekeepers. On that day, French peacekeepers lead an assault on a position they had lost a few hours before. This is one of the rare case in which peacekeepers were used as an offensive force.

  • @Asuka92500 UNPROFOR deploys in Croatia in April 1992, but with inter-ethnic fights in Bosnia, it has to intervene. French soldiers are thus deployed in Sarajevo as early as of summer 1992. A siege of 4 years then starts

Before its collapsing in 1991, Yugoslavia was a mosaic of peoples and States, governed by Belgrade. On June 25th 1991, the Republics of Slovenia and Croatia proclamed their independence. As a response, on the 27th, the People's army of Yugoslavia deploys its tanks in Croatia. The UN then decided to create an interposition force between the belligerents : UNPROFOR (armed by 15 000 men), in which the French contingent is the most important.

  • @0rth0doX In order of appearence :

"To be useful, you have to be respected in this kind of mission, and to be respected you need to be strong … we were not strong, not enough… we have been doomed to impotence and this lead to the drama of Srebrenica" (General Philippe Morillon, commander UNPROFOR in Bosnia (1992-1993).

  • @Asuka92500 I get the general idea of what this video is all about but didn't manage to translate the intro and the last scenes with Jacques Chirac, and thanks for reply btw
