i love love love this song! one of my favorite songs from FLL (another is Crazy Wisdom) but unfortunately this song was not as popular as their other songs. and i never heard a studio version of it.

This is my favorite fra lippo lippi song. And I wonder why it never got famous.

It's probably because this always appeared in their B-side. This was not an original composition. See comment below. Nevertheless, this is still a great song from a great band.
