@nastylefthook1 OH WTF IS THIS MAN SAYING.

This is a very subdued Little Richard. I saw him in a rock n' roll show at the Chicago Civic Opera House in August, 1957. He was a wild man on the stage; jumping around and pounding on the piano. He even jumped into the orchestra pit! I heard later he sprained his ankle doing that. He was fantastic! I saw him on the Phil Donahue show in the 1980s. A woman in the audience who was at the same show asked him about the orchestra pit jump and he confirmed that he sprained his ankle.

@5inthehole Elvis recorded demos at Sun as early as 1953. He recorded That's All Right Mama in July of 1954- the title of King of Rock and Roll was used by Bill Haley, Little Richard and Elvis in the mid 50's- it eventually stuck with Presley as he had become the most popular and biggest seller. He himself called Fats Domino the Real King of Rock and Roll- and he's probably right. ( and Richard's early Specialty stuff was nothing like his style later on-which he took from Esquerita.

Amen! If he had been white he would have that title today. Only for the tone of his skin and the racial minds of the 50's-70's bigots allowed Elvis to Rip off the title from him. Long live Little Richard, The real King of Rock'n Roll!

@rbound827 That's not what I was implying or saying. What I was trying to get across was that calling Elvis "the king" of rock n roll is a title that came from the bigoted/ racial minds of white america from the 60's & 70's that last today. What should be revised is that title to Little Richard or Chuck Berry who are more deserving than Elvis (who didn't record his first song until 1955 at the famed Sun studio). Little Richard was recording for Speciaty at least 2 years earlier.

@nastylefthook You are obviously one that supports the Nazi movement. Having wasted 30 seconds of my life viewing your hatred I can only conclude that you are the one that hasn't evolved. Most of us in this day and age live together in harmony, just a few of you haters stuck in the past that are spoiling everything. Your answer to the problem is to destroy that which your poisoned mind dislikes. I would normally delete your comments but it is good that people see you for what you really are.

@chanceramone That's All Right was released in 1946 by Arthur 'Big Boy' Crudup who just happens to be African American. Elvis covered the song and that helped him start his career. There were many pioneers of Rock 'n' Roll and the debate over who is really King will go on forever. Personally Big Joe Turner, Louis Jordan, Wynonie Harris were the real 'Kings' of Rock 'n' Roll. They were Rockin' long before Elvis, Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochran etc.
