  • Your website has some great material as well.

  • "Trying to say something is not true because it hasn't been seen yet (proof from a negative) is generally recognized as a logical fallicy"

I agree, especially when it comes to archeology!

  • Then you weren't listening. Watch the video again and make the unspoken conclusion.

  • "I'll try to track down the report. "

    I would appreciate that!

  • ""first tell me how many temples there were!! "

    None.. Of course.. "

what evidence do you have of this besides your own wishful thinking?

  • behindzioncurtain,

The Arc and Tabernacle in Shiloh were treated as the temple for 400 years. The Kingdoms of Judah and Israel certainly acted as though their temples were authorized by God. Where is your evidence that they were not authorized? Corinthians says each of our bodies is a temple for the Spirit. That's more than one.

  • osmiolos,

Trying to say something is not true because it hasn't been seen yet (proof from a negative) is generally recognized as a logical fallicy. What I am saying is that you can't say The Book of Mormon is not true because you haven't yet found evidence for something it claims was there.

  • osmiolos,

NASA and some universities started a survey of Mayan/mesoamerican sites from space in February 2006 through 2009. I read a preliminary report that they had already identified more than 600,000 sites. With the 3,000 or so excavated sites that is where the 1/2 of 1 percent comes from. I'll try to track down the report.

  • "The video addresses only the point that temples outside of Jerusalem were acceptable in the time period of The Book of Mormon. "

Actually it does not make any case that additional temples were validated by God.

There is talk of other temples, but none were authorized.

The reason that 1 temple is acceptable, is because 1 temple represents the 1 true God.

Jesus is now that temple (he declared it, and was sought for blasphamey when he predicted His own death).

  • "first tell me how many temples there were!! "

    None.. Of course..

  • "This says nothing of Temples in America! "

    extrapolate!
