Sixteen-year-old Ashton Lundeby's bedroom in his mother's Granville County home is nothing, if not patriotic. Images of American flags are everywhere on the bed, on the floor, on the wall.

But according to the United States government, the tenth-grade home-schooler is being held on a criminal complaint that he made a bomb threat from his home on the night of Feb. 15.

Yes, I despise the Bush for signing the Patriot act into law. It's an unnecessary and dangerous piece of legislation, that relies on good people, not to abuse it.

@TheSilkyJohnston He got his due-process like everyone is entitled to. He pled guilty to conspiracy, and was part of a group of teens taking money from other kids to call in bomb threats to schools. He was sentenced to the 22 months, time served and released.

@Troforso I assure you that this story was only aired on the local TV station where this happened. Something like this would NEVER get on our national news, which is an absolute joke, used only for deceiving you into thinking you are informed.

Americans are working one or two jobs in order to survive and in the evening they are pacified by the entertainment system.
