Giving the sheriffs office some heat for their false arrest.

After reading about the false arrest and violation of the motorhome diary guys' rights, I called the sheriffs office in Jones County Mississippi. If enough people call, maybe they'll think twice before pulling this crap again.

let me clarify this for you a little more. at jones county sheriff's office, most officers either have college degrees or are in college classes. there are at least 2 with masters degrees or in grad school. there are 2 that have doctorate degrees. so if you want to propogate the idea that the jcso is just some ignorant backwood hillbilly sheriff's office that violates civil rights anytime it wants, than that just shows your ignorance.

I never said they were hillbillies now did? All that I'm saying is that in this particular instance I chose to believe the word of those being arrested over the word of the police officer. Police are just as likely to lie as the general population.

Also, higher education has absolutely nothing to do with honesty. If you believe it does feel free invest your money with Madoff or any other big Wall St firm. How about Clinton, Bush and Cheney, everyone knows about their honesty issues.

First of all, I trust their account more so than the "official" account by the police dept.

Secondly, they are not anarchists and fully believe in following the law and followed all laws as far as I could tell. Libertarian principles are based on the protection of rights and property under the law. Seems we might agree on this, maybe you should consider reading more about libertarian principles.
