A few years ago I was privileged to see this orchestra live in concert. If you think these video cuts are terrific, by all means go see the band live if you possibly can! It'll be a lifelong memory for you, as it is with me.

i woke up today and just had a feeling to listen to a big band, for no apparent reason. And it is ABSOLUTELY electrifying. Good thing i followed my guts. What a way to start a day.

Glen Miller was the pop music star of his age and his music has been played and enjoyed over 65 years.
I wonder how much of the pop charts will be played, live by bands, in 50 years from now? I genuinely feel sorry for the kids who will have to put up with the quality of the tripe in the charts these days and have to tell their kids that was the music they listened to.

yeah, this orchestra was put together ten years after he died, and they get new players all the time.
