This is a student midterm from the Los Angeles Film School.
For midterm requirements, students must select a scene from an Oscar-nominated screenplay. "Cerebral Hygiene" is a scene originally written by Charlie Kaufman for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind; however it was cut before production and thus never shot.
Re-imagined and re-named, Cerebral Hygiene is now a surreal out-of-context moment in memory erasure.

presented by Cosmologic Cinema
directed by Steven Andrew Garcia
shot by Jennie Bond
edited by Craig Blaine
music by Her Space Holiday

  • Hey, this is a total rip off of Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind.

And if not I appologize, maybe they stole YOUR idea.

In any case it's really well done, can you tell me more about this world? I'd love to hear about it.

(it reminds me of a parallel universe I live in)
