  • Great little video! She was a wealth of information!

  • @nurseally1976 Happy you enjoyed. Just got off the phone with Jack. He said he wants to do more videos to share his life, and wants to do an Amish Wedding part two !

  • Thanks for letting us into your world. It feels just like being there!

  • @Coaljet Happy you enjoyed. Peace.

  • Miriam, You're beautiful for an Amish lady.

  • @ohiodeerhunter21 Sure is. Married with children too. Funny, there's a new Amish dating site going around, probably saw it on youtube, that is using her picture without permission. Anybody know how I can remedy this for Jack. I never saw him so upset.

  • @Intocable8306 But how about the smell, that goes along with the hoofs.

  • @AppleSouffle Oh yea, it's less hectic, but there's a catch, an Amish Waylay, if you would.....but, it's all free-will.

  • Amish life looks so much less hectic and stressful than going to university and struggling in the job market. It looks so nostalgic with the wooden, covered bridge and riding in a buggy.

It's cool that Miriam and her Dad are so knowledgeable about Amish history. With mobile telephones, at least they're small, easy to hide and there are no wires. It would be handy for parents to call their children and say, "Dinner is ready! Where are you?"

  • Thanks for sharing, miss the sound of horse hoofs on the road so much!

  • She sure is, and with her Dad next to her there aint nothin they don't know, about Amish, that is.

  • Thanks for stopping by. The Meyers are wonderful people. I'm lucky to have known them, and be aloud to photograph them and reveal some secrets.
