Dance piece, Finding Peace by choreographer Debra Knapp performed by the NMSU Dance Program. Music is a commissioned piece by composer Randy Granger called Ancestor's Dance. The piece premiered at 'Tis the Season' by the NMSU Dance Program, December 6, 2008 at the Rio Grande Theatre, Las Cruces, New Mexico. Choreography copyright Debra Knapp, music copyright by Randy Granger. The song has hang drums, native american flutes, ocean drum and vocals meant to represent the Hawaiian culture and way of life. The dance represents the passage of time from the ancestors to now and beyond.
