  • yay, another "wrong" handed spinner! i also spin this way, just feels more natural. love your videos!

  • Fantastic! I'm so glad I found this video. I've been looking everywhere for somewhere that would clearly demonstrate long draw on a spindle, and I finally found this. What helped the most was seeing how the position of your hands makes the L shape. Thank you, thank you!

  • Wow I can only hope I can someday spin half as fast as you can! I've got piles of fleece from my angora goats and am hoping that spinning in the fold will be a useful technique. Thank you!

  • Awesome! Thank you so much for providing this video. I can't even count how many times I have watched it. If it weren't for your videos and a few others (Abby comes to mind) I would not be able to spin at all.

  • lovely clear video thank you!

  • This was a great video; really helped the process click for me!

Also, I love the "shh" in the middle ;)

  • This vid was very helpful! Thanks so much!

Envious at the incredible amount of wool one can see there on the back!

  • Great video now I understand better. Thanks.

  • Thank you! I have been wanting to learn how to do this, and was trying on my own, but this helps a lot.

  • Great video, Beth!!! This is exactly what I was looking for. I just got my gorgeous Abby F. silk bumps from you and I'm about to start spinning for Abby from this issue of Knitty and though I've read about it, I've never really tried spinning from the fold. Do you recommend using the spindle or the wheel for this? I was thinking the spindle b/c it's a smaller amount of fiber (1 oz.) but it seems like it might be easier on the wheel. Thanks again for a great video!! Keep 'em coming.
