I'm in love with the chord change at 1:23, simple as it may appear! More a fan of his AC work, but this is a clear exception; a song seemingly rooted in hurt, but so sanguine at the same time.

As a fan of Bowie, when the semi tone shift cast Roddy Frame adrift, I can honestly say he has surpassed his inspirational roots in his own ability to connect with, and inspire his own audience.
