A lot of people seem to be under the impression that having any type of health problem immediately rules you out from being accepted, this is the reason why a couple of them didn't specify what health problem they had, i.e. they were lying. Not only can the armed forces accept you with certain conditions (including partial color blindness), a lot of recruiters tell new recruits to 'not' mention any illnesses if they really want to get in.
