I agree with Makael on this one...its all about value. I dont want NO teacher teaching my child about sex-ed. I say teach them at 10 or ll.

I disagree with makael on this one. Kids should be thought early about sex because the world isn't like it use to be. This isn't 1980 anymore its 2009. And kids are all on the internet creating myspace accounts portraying another grown female/male person. These kids are growing at a fast rate and the more you teach a child the proper sexual behavior, the more the kid will know what she/he are getting into when they subject theirself to sexual behavior.

Yet, again. Those who are intelligent enough will service,and expressed their behaviors.These are the children who should be tought right from wrong.For example:The 5 and 6 yr old girls new everything sex,their parant denied their behavior and got a belt...now theeir proud mothers before the age of 16.

There is nothing wrong with confiding in your teacher,a pastor a close friend...their counselors. People do need to realize that 5 year old's "watch everything" from in the home,to school,watching TV,or being over someone's house,it depends on their intelligence;and how well they pick up information. Let's remember it takes a whole village to raise a child. The appropriate time for the "the talk" should be given when the child starts asking questions, and/or engaging in inappropriate things:)

It's not always about being brought up the "right way",you can still grow up shy,or non compliant with your family.Your a unique individual,who needs someone to listen to your problems,a shoulder to cry on,or to engage in someones laughter.Everyone's family can't do that.
