  • The rest of the cast is so far amazing, but these Thénardiers are just dull! To get a good Thénardier you need a comedian or a character-actor. NOT A SINGER!!!

  • I think people find it sounds better with British accents because it was written for and originally performed by a British cast and so it's been associated with British accents ever since and therefore sounds better with British accents...

  • Who is Madame Thenardier here? She's no Jenny Galloway but she's not bad.

  • Even as an American, this sound better with British accents in my opinion... I don't know why. Not that these people aren't good, I just like it better with British accents.

  • @Tiffany21NYC I KNOW RIGHT????

  • @iloveyou1997jd hmph. Cosette was a jerk. Eponine was a little kid- and it even says this in the book- and she treated Cosette the way her mother treated Cosette because she thoguht that was what she was supposed to do. Cosette was spoiled as an adolescent and while people die at the barricade her biggest worry was whether some guy liked her. While Eponine risks her life for the man she loves and dies doing it.

  • @kmasucci I think everything involving that dude is humorous...

  • @blueberryicedtea They are not supposed to be in England. Why is charm lost w/o British dialects?

  • @kmasucci beggars at the feast?

  • I think Master of the House is the only humorous song in the show!
