Mac OS X is based on BSD, which came from Unix, which Linux did too, making Linux and BSD kind of "brothers", meaning that Mac is Linux's nephew or something.

No, since version 10 (or "X", if you like), it runs the kernel of Darwin OS, which is based on FreeBSD or the like.
I use GNU/Linux for everyday tasks and working, while Windows is mainly for playing games - and I'm planning on buying a Macbook... let's see what I can use that for (iTunes, I guess), but mainly because of their hardware quality.
... and yeah, of course there's gonna be GNU/Linux on it ^^
So, "Mac vs. PC" is totally stupid.
