@MrBehk Well holy shit, I wasn't expecting to get an answer haha. Now to remember which ones I've heard or haven't. Hard when all the Slovene you know was learned and forgotten during a few drunken weekends. Thanks a lot, perhaps this will inspire me to track my friend down. At this point though walking trough Izola shouting his name is a pretty shit plan haha.
Thanks again,
Nils

@mrkoi9 hey...
punk bands: Niet, Racija, Via Ofenziva, Anus, Pigs Parlament, Aktivna Propaganda,...
metal: Necrotic, Gonoba, Sarcasm, Pomaranča, Negligence, Bombe,...
There's much more good sh*t... \m/

@MrBehk Exactly, the band members are from all over not just central/eastern europe, and they probably aren't Roma Gypsies. More like.... World punk with a heavy Balkan influence and some eastern european influence.
MrBehk, I've heard some fantastic Slovenian metal and punk, too bad you posted this a year ago I'd ask for a few names of bands since my Slovenian friend is MIA.

REVOLUCIJA!!!

@muhara18 It's balkan punk band, and they mix everything with sevdah... folk is not even close to their stile.
-
@ad0s89 It's Balkan folk music.
-
@ad0s89 inspired at least in part by the gypsy culture, no doubt. i mean it's impossible that it would be only inspired by one region when the band is so very diverse
