I can't advance the film when I closed the back of the camera. But when I leave it open, I have no problem advance the film. What should I do? I've been trying so many times and it still doesn't work

This video was useless and I most likely ruined a cassette of film. You can't see how to thread the film properly or anything else correct for that matter. Beware.

my film wont go in! im trying to use just regular kodak 35mm into a canon ae-1. help!!
