Hey I've got the same rca system as you. maybe you could help me out. I moved and now can't plug in my sub woofer control plug (that's the red and black cable coming out of the back of the subwoofer, which ends in a white plastic square tip) back into the jack on the back of the receiver. Do you know which side of the tip faces upwards when you plug it in. One side shows groove that expose the silver wiring. The other has two obtrusions that sort of look like arrows on it.
