This video was taken at 20th August, 2010, in the Musikhochschule Freiburg, Germany, with the Yamaha Disklavier. I thank Prof. Chistoph Sischka for the opportunity to use this facility and for the technical support. The piano is driven by a PC with Cubase software. The time structure (tempo changes, rhythm) is fully synthetical, created on the base of my performance theory that I have developed in my doctoral dissertation in the early 1990th. The theory assumes, among others, that arch-shaped tempo curves can be effective indepentently on various metrical levels, that tempo can change immediatly to double or half of the tempo, and that the length of certain rhythmical values (in this simulation all single 16th notes) can be independent from local tempo. The dynamics (the velocity values in the MIDI file) were adjusted by ear on 19th and 20th August, 2010, at the location where this recording is taken.
