If Afghanistan was so important to Obama why did he wait six months AFTER his appointed general asked for more troops. He was too busy getting money for his Union thug buddies.

It's amazing that sending billions of dollars overseas had to be decided in 24 hours but deploying troops to a place they were desperately needed took six months.

The facts are clear. After 9-11 we had no islamic terrorist attacks on US soil until the liberals took over. At that point the Islamo Fascist felt that the political climate was much safer for them to practice Jihad. Obama's troops surge was only ordered AFTER the American people demanded it. Remember, Obama ran his election on pulling out and running from the enemy.

You completely ignore the irreducible fact that the war in Afghanistan was willfully under resourced for years, that troops, material and intelligence gathering capacities were diverted to Iraq. Moreover you blissfully ignore the Bush pro-torture policies, rendition , the history of the [ very cozy]relationship between the Saudi royal family and the Bush family and the US intelligence analysis re Abu Ghirab [SP]; it created a broad new wave of terrorists and insurgents.

The state of Afghanistan 1 year ago was bad because of failed liberal policy that has been going on for 35 years. The liberal defined rules of engagement tie the hands of our troops. There should really be one rule.
