Wigan, Winsford and Crewe 03-06-11 part 1

Some scenes from stations in Lancashire and Cheshire.
Starting at Wigan North Western, where Freightliner 66523 passes through with a coal train, with the back axle locked up and smoking.
Then moving swiftly down to Crewe, where several unusual things happened. Starting with London Midland 350105 departing to Euston from Platform 3 and 175109 arriving on platform 6 from Camarthen. Then, 390039 rushes through on the centre lines heading for Euston.
Next is class 47's 47804 and 826, both in west coast livery, on a Carnforth-Crewe DRS working, prior to working The Pennine and North Eastern Explorer from Hereford the following day. Next, 153381 arrived from Derby and 153367 arrived from Shrewsbury, followed by 390003 running non-stop towards Euston. Then the unusual things began.
Having been announced that the 13:22 to Birmingham New Street would start at Crewe, 350104 ended up going into platform 2 to run that while the actual Liverpool-New Street train arrived in platform 1, was terminated, and ended up running the 13:33 to Euston instead. Then 67008 passed through the station on a short freight. Next, a Cross Country 220 arrived, running through platform 1 non-stop, probably on an ECS to Manchester, and finally, 390007 ran through platform 11 without stopping on the Euston-Liverpool instead of going down the centre lines. Quite unusual...
