Sarah tries to see Nikolas to wish him a happy new year, but he promptly and blatantly dismisses her. Nikolas also becomes angry when Stefan attempts to help him with this things. Stefan and Katherine have a romantic New Year's Eve while Dara sings a beautiful solo at the Outback Club.

Well, all I can say is I post whatever I receive on the dvds. I'm betting there will be some Nik/Lucky bonding starting to happen not too far from now, but am not sure about their girlfriends, which seem to take a back seat in these edits I order. We'll just have to wait and see unfortunately.

Me either. From what I can remember they were extremely boring. Now Elizabeth will play a larger role as things move along, but that won't be for a while yet. As far as Sarah goes, she can take a hike up Mt. Everest for all I care. :)

NOPE.... I seen the con she did on Scotty when she first came to PC in 1993. She played on his grief and she was in it with Damian (evil) Smith, Frank Smith's son. Then she blackmailed Ned into marriage and took away Deception. Then she dumped Mac quickly when Stefan hovered over her hospital bed after he shot her while he was married to Bobbie. Kathereine does not have a good track record. ALEXIS WAS RIGHT!! Alexis RULES!!

Oh, I don't have a problem with older woman/younger man relationships in general. I just think they were icky b/c she almost MARRIED Stefan and was going to be a MOTHER FIGURE to Nik. To go from almost-step-mommy to lover is not a sexy cougar thing in my book!

Well...I guess it depends on how you look at it. You know the old saying about older women and younger men and the fireworks they create in the bedroom. Heck, look at Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore...surely neither married the other for the stimulating conversation. I'm NOT defending the Kat/Nik relationship at all because frankly I found it about as interesting as watching 2 flies (you know what)...but I can, to a degree, understand the logic of it.
