We test shoot this Smith & Wesson Model 10 after a good cleaning.
It worked well again and this "snubby" model 10 makes a real comfortable and compact 6 shooter

We shot this review at South East Regional Park in Tucson, Arizona

  • could this gun kill someone in one shot?

I don't know alot about firearms but one scene in the "Godfather movie" a character uses this same gun to shoot two guys in a bar. And one victim gets shot in the head at 5 foots range and is still alive.

  • @asterix645

    Well.. Think about a knife...

Would a knife stab kill you? Sure it COULD, but it would depend on stuff like how big a blade, where you cut, etc

    Same goes with guns

Nothing is magic like the movies.

  • @GunWebsites yes i understand what your saying but I did mention all the details. The gun was the same model 10, snubnose, it was from 5 feet away and the bullet was right in the middle of his forehead. There's the details,

And yes i know movie are fake, but if it a realistic fiction film, the would still have to be real while being fake, get what i mean?

  • @asterix645

Not to get into ballistics or anatomy, etc.. but I need to refer to my knife example.. there are just too many factors in people and bullets to say anything is true 100% of the time

  • @GunWebsites

oh, your basically saying a tough bodybuilder would be more resistant to a bullet than a frail child. Is that what you mean when you talk about the anatomy variable, anyway im sure you can make some assumptions :)

( and i dont mean shooting a child LOL)

  • @asterix645

Well thats not what I was thinking, I was just thinking some people have bigger livers than others, or kidneys or other guts.. and that our insides are gonna change person to person.. but you are right about physical characteristics too

Do all people in car accidents die? all people who fall down stairs? People who get electrocuted? These things can all be lethal, nothing is absolutely fatal all of the time.. bullets especially

  • S&W model 10 can't be beat. Very accurate and very reliable and it won't cost an arm and a leg.

  • that thing is veryy nice how much do they cost?

  • @asterix645 ok putt it like this i bought this same exact gun from a crackhead when i was 12 when i was 15 i got into a scuffle the gun dropped someone picked it up and shot me 6 times i survived...i was in afgahnistan bout 8 months ago and got hit 4 times with AK rounds i survived...so it domt mattet what gun it is or how close it is its where u putt that bullet and sometimes even then u wont always get the kill understand?

  • I need this so bad

  • @asterix645 Wrong--the revolver Michael (Al Pacino) used in that scene was a .22. The first guy he shoots(the Turkish drug dealer) is dead instantly. Then, he shoots the police chief in the neck and then the head. Both characters are dead. I read the book and have seen the film too many times to count. This is all fiction of course.

To answer your question about the MODEL 10 .38 Special.....YES,it can kill in one shot.

  • @bolijack Very true as well, a soft nosed lead round will probably kill you, bet you have a better chance of surviving that than a hollow point.

  • @SecretService80 What many people dont know: a lot depends on the ammonution!

  • model 10 shoot fine.

  • Love the Smith and Wesson Model 10. K-Frame (medium). Fits perfect in the hand. Believe the blued frame is the Model 10 and the stainless steel frame is a Model 64. Unless this model was maybe done in nickel. Have know idea if S&W made a Model 10 in nickel. Thanks for posting!

  • what sort of ammo was that?
