I'm considering buying a component cable for my Xbox, to watch movies and stuff via XBMC. I'm currently connected through composite, and the video quaiity is horrible. Thanks for this vid.

I would definitely recommend a component video cable in that case, the 480p is really nice.

Yeah, it turns out the video port for my Xbox is messed up, that's why I got those funky vertical lines.

I have recently ordered a component cable for my Xbox original to use with my 21.5" monitor via my component to vga cable. Hopefully the image quality isn't too bad on a smaller display.
