Georgian artisans at 54th Venice International Exhibition
2011-06-04 Works by Georgian artisans are at display at the 54th Venice International Exhibition. Georgia's President Mikheil Saakashvili arrived at the Georgian booth earlier this afternoon.
Saakashvili evaluated 4 works of Tamar Kvestitadze, Georgian architect, sculptor and painter. He said Kvesitadze was a genius.
Also, today a decision was made that Kvesitadze's work "Rotation" will be put outside the Justice House in Batumi city, while another work will be exhibited inside the parliament in Kutaisi city.
Saakashvili and Georgia's First Lady Sandra Roelofs then inspected exposition of Andro Vekua, late Georgian artist based in Zurich. Art lovers from across the world are gathered at Venice Biennale.
