http://uspimpclub.blogspot.com Brookdale Center went on the auction block at a sheriff's foreclosure sale Friday, netting just one bid of $12.5 million from the shopping mall's lenders.
The bid from Brookdale Mall HH LLC was well below the $51.8 million owed on a $54.2 million mortgage by the property's owners, Brooks Mall Properties of Coral Gables, Fla.

@wilatemodel It's "Zeitgeist is "a" racist Movement". If it were true then they wouldn't have spent the last 3 years trying to introduce ideas to help eventually eradicate poverty, something majority of Black people suffer in. I think that's a very surface and simple accusation, which is baseless and ineffective, why don't you provide a little more insight.... PLEASE?

One reason could be is that the sidewalks are full of black creeps walking around and gang bangers jiving the sidewalks scray really. I went there when it was still in business and seen the kind neighbor hood its in and the creeps hanging around all over and kept on driving right on by not bring my kid in the area getting jacked out by my car for $5. lol

You guys, the restaurants around this mall have grown since this mall collapsed, their were restaurants in that mall that relocated just across the street. Don't give in so easily without questioning "authority"

@HARTLIKEWHEEL where are you talking about?

People are homeless & unemployed and it almost seems like there is no need for it.

This mall, to me, seemed to big to fail. But if you look at the area and culture that grew around it you would understand why it failed. Like so many malls, I flash over to River Roads Mall in St Louis, mo-it was overrun by an element that came never with the intent to spend money-at least in the mall. That in turn drove away it's retail base to other areas to spend money.
It really has less to do with the economy-cause Minnesota has a lower than average unemployment rate.

Huge mall? I don't think so. Economic crisis? I don't think so. It was simply due to the economic status of the area where immigrants and thugs hung out. I stopped going there nearly 10 years ago because I wasn't fond of the 'clientele.'

Ok I get it....it's big. How about some details of the auction, who owned it, which bank is auctioning it off etc. Any idiot can film an empty mall
