  • just plug your phone in the un activated landline, because by law a 911 call is placeable without service. SO internet goes down, electricity goes down and cell phone battery dies too? wow that's your fault for not being on point. Also unless you live in bumfuckville go to your neighbors in an emergency or something, justifying a landline for "emergency" purposes is weak. k thumbs down me i know i know

  • whoch voip services have many advantages than landline and mobile phones ,they offer a great many benefits to users, it is convenient to use them for users ,in all, voip services is a good choice. as a user, you have a alternative product, if you usually travel all over the world, you can buy a DID number ,thus ,whenever where you go, you will not worry the dear international calls ,in contrast, it will save you too much .

  • Just hope u guys kno that you could be getting identity theft....

  • Our business is with fastmetrics managed voip now. It was a seamless migration from our standard pbx system. We kept our same phone numbers and the service is fully managed from the get-go. We saved $ with unlimited free calls to the us and canada and dirt cheap o/s rates. Smart phones too, with features like call attendant, which cuts out the need for a receptionist.

  • I've been with "SpeakGreat" for a few weeks. I figure my cellphones cover emergencies for power outages.

I love all the custome calling features that come with VoIP service. I have "Distinctive Ringing" for key people. It even works if the Caller ID is blocked.

I have my home number simulanreaously ring my cellphone.

AT&T used to charge me $6 per month just to forward my calls to the cellphone after 2 rings.

Audio quality is a bit lower than the copper wire landline was, but it works.
