How lightly some comment about this great Sensei, one of only NINE Intangible Cultural Asset holders in Karate Do in Okinawa, the birthplace of Karate. They must surely think they "know" a lot about Karate Do, from flashy tournament-style Katas, Kumite, trophies and such. This Kata is "merely "a collection of techniques to use in real combat, as well as a way of training mind, body and spirit to become a better person through constant practice, away from the spotlights and cheering crowds.

You're kidding right? "5 years and "ALMOST" a black belt?!?!?! And you think for one millisecond you have the right, expertise, experience, and knowledge to offer "correction" or "opinion" on a Grand Master who has been training, teaching, and living Karate for more than 70 years and is a 10th degree black belt?!?!?! What planet are you from? Must be that newly discovered one, "Dumbanus", or the one next to it, "Ignoranus".

this is the shorin ryu style that i know.. not some other people claiming they performed shorin katas. i practice under the branch master shiroma.

That is such BAD news,Miyahira sensei was one of the last real kara-te masters and a ture gentleman he will be sadly missed.
