I uploaded this video as an example of the type of abuses that go on every day at the TSA. The TSA detains people or removes them from flights every day for non-security, punitive reasons. Passengers have missed their flights because they didn't want their breast milk screened in the x-ray detector, because they were carrying a cupcake, because they were wearing a shirt with a satirical logo, because they had a purse with a gun emblem on it, the list goes on. When this happens, passengers have no recourse. Complaints to the TSA result in the TSA denying there was any wrong doing, and the offending officer goes unpunished. Passengers should have rights, and TSA agents should know that there are consequences for intimidation and bullying.

Here is my story:
I was at the Houston airport in August for a layover. At the gate they were "testing" everyone's liquids. Normally I hide my water bottle in my bag when I see this, but we were running late and I didn't have time. I drank my water instead of letting them test it, and was kicked off my flight.
I was able to get on the very next flight out of houston-and even managed an upgrade! (thanks United)
Sorry for crappy phone video-but the audio is what I wanted to post.

there should be a TSA agent stationed outside your house - to search you each time you enter or exit - for your own safety, you understand.

If you don't like the idea, then it's probably because you're a terrorist and hate America.

What? You scared, wittle chicken shit? Afwaid of the wittle tewowiths gonna thteal your pwane and make it eggthplode? GROW A FUCKING PAIR! I would rather deal with the terror threat, than deal with these walking shit stains you trust with security! Besides, if a terrorist enters an airport, all TSA is going to do is cower in a corner and suck their thumb assuming it's not in their ass! The chances of a terrorist attack is very slim, the chances of TSA saving you are even smaller! Now fuck off!

    1. liquid restrictions were instituted when a London raid uncovered people writing about the though of trying something like that. They were essentially terrorist wannabes. The restrictions were supposed to be temporary until tests were conducted. Tests showed that there is no explosive that can be created with water mixed with something else that would be a threat. Yet the ban remains.

    2. In the vast majority of tests, GUNS AND KNIVES were NOT caught by TSA. Too busy with water I guess.

Remember the saying "Absolute power corrupts absolutely." From now on, consider the spaces within airports to be places where you give up ALL your personal rights. ALL OF THEM. The power is in the hands of these (stupid) agents. If you want to get on your flight you have to GO ALONG, or risk missing your trip. Yes, it's power run amok. But do you have any other choice........

Uhh, careful there... Your government cares more about you than that! Try NOT paying your taxes to them, and you'll become "important" in one hell of a hurry.......
