More propaganda this time from Canada. This medal does not mean that Germany lost the games. The actually won the 1936 games. History recorded that Germany won and Jesse Owens was loved by the Germans.

Well I'll tell you, this was his third Olympics and after winning a Silver in 1932 there was no way my grandfather would let a Nazi win, in front of Adolf Hitler.

1936 Olympics were before the religious persecution began and then as an olympic champion he was exempt from labour camp service until 1943...then he went into hiding,
