Nice video- just wondering what the attachment is that you use to attach the Bulgarian bag to the short rope? Would love to know, if you have time to reply that would be great..cheers!

This 'beats' sand bags in some ways because you can roll, bounce, leverage it off of your body more safely and more easily than a standard sandbag because the S-Bag is usually looser. THis is tighter and has a more 'body' feel to it. The horizontal swing/bounce off of your shoulder rotations are a perfect example of conditioning that feels like MMA/Judo/Wrestling throws and leverage movements.

I made one out of a quad bike inner tube and filled it with gravel from an abondened quarry. It weighs around 37lbs. It is awesome.
I assume you are trying to sell these or something.
Why would I use this thing versus any other sandbag or a weight plate?

The Bulgarian Bag is a unique training tool that allows you to work in multiple planes of motion, often during a single movement. This bag has roots in Greco-Roman wrestling and is used for muscle endurance/strength, much like the kettlebell. The real benefit is being able to perform work under a moderate load with relatively short rest periods. During a typical 50 min workout, you can expect to burn between 800-1100 calories. Besides, the workouts are fun a hell!
