Here's something I put together on audio cassette back in 1994. It's short clips from vinyl copies I have from "Scott Shannon's Rockin' America Top 30 Countdown" from September and October, 1987. It offers kind of a nice glimpse into weekend radio of the time, for those of us who remember.

Wow, this brings back memories. Our local radio station in Trinidad used to broadcast this. I loved listening to the antics of Scott Shannon and Mr. Leonard every week. Thank you for posting this up.

@Doowopdan ....huh? No, I took this from actual radio shows I have on vinyl from 1987. Read the description. And yeah, I know about the Hannity thing.

It's actually the "True Oldies Channel", a syndicated format run by dozens of radio stations in the U.S. He also does a Top 40 format morning show in NYC (or did, last I heard). Finally, he's the intro voice on Sean Hannity's radio show.
