Concerto No. 1 in F major for trumpet and orchestra, Op. 14 (2006-12) - II Adagio molto - Composer: Geert Van Hoorick - Digital performance using Sibelius 4.1 and Kontakt Player Gold - Feel free to comment. For the most recent version of the score see

This is a modern-classical (i.e. post-romantic) concerto for trumpet and large orchestra. The first movement was composed in 2006 (hence the early opus number) & 2009, the second and third movement end 2011- begin 2012. It consists of three movements: a vivid and very virtuoso movement in sonata form, a slow movement more or less in AB-form, and a fast and relaxed finale in rondo form (with a heroic middle section). For the soloist the first movement is very demanding (but I'm willing to change too difficult passages if needed). There is a cadenza in the first and third movement.
