Them is fightin' words. A martial arts trainer must fight off the advances of a teenage girl who seems to hit on him during a sparring session. It's a battle of wits, and the sexes, in this sock and talk action comedy.
This was my submission to the Talenthouse "Work with Brett Ratner" competition:

WRITER/DIRECTOR BIO
Ryan Fung's passion for film & television ignited when he took A.P. English Literature at Westmoor High School in the San Francisco Bay Area. There, he learned that the moving image was an intellectual medium, just like novels and plays. It was being a student of literature that inspired him to pursue a career in film & television.
Soon, Ryan majored in Film & Media Studies at U.C. Santa Barbara. (It was actually an alumni reel featuring Jeff Nathanson and Rush Hour 2 that convinced him to choose that school.) There, Ryan learned as much as he could about the business and craft of film and television. In addition to his studies, he spent much time working on several live-action and animated films. By the end of his college career, Ryan gained experience in producing, writing, directing, cinematography, and animation.
After college, Ryan moved to Los Angeles and took an internship at Fox. There, he interacted with Fox Entertainment executives and gained first-hand experience in the synergetic realm of film, television, and new media. After Fox, Ryan interned for writer-producer Mark Goffman (The West Wing, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, White Collar), helping him in the process of developing a television pilot.
Currently, Ryan works as a background actor to learn and partake in the process of making some of the biggest productions in film & television. His favorite experiences came from Glee, and the Fox pilots Exit Strategy (Ethan Hawke) and Touch (Kiefer Sutherland).
Ryan continues to hone his craft as a writer and director. Actively learning and seeking inspiration for his next creative endeavors, Ryan attends film festivals and live events, asks questions at panels and seminars, and participates in industry workshops.
Turned out really cute! I am surprised you actually were able to cut it down so short. Good work!
