This is a *temporary* fix to the E 74 . This fix only lasts for a few hours or a couple days. Its the kinda the same thing as the towel trick but way faster and less retarted.
You cant mess up the Xbox because its already messed up with the E74!
I did this to my Xbox 5 times
After the Xbox finally died I sent it to Microsoft and in about 3 weeks they sent me another one for free.
So it doesn't void your warranty.
I Just called thoe Microsoft mofos up and they said the E74 is their fault and that they don't charge to repair or replace your Xbox.

i have a similar overheating problem, mine got e74, and won't go away no matter what. I let the gpu get to 65 Celsius, and it worked, but i turned my console off, then on. And it started with E74... Lol , I thought 65 celsius for a Xenon is nothing. I always keep it around 45-50 with an extra fan I installed, it doesn't get power from the 360 so it can't really kill it. Maybe I overcooled it :D
