This organ seems to be chronically out of tune, on every recording i have heard of it... Not surprising with so jamed divisions...
-
The Celestial Division are digital ranks added by Peterson
-
prelude and fugue in e flat.... one of bachs most brilliant pieces
-
And this was probably the only organ that I've played that had a full-size gospel division on it!
-
Unfortunately, I didn't get to climb that huge ladder. I wanted to though! Love that organ.

What is a "Gospel DIvision"?
I've never heard of that.

The "Gospel Organ" consists of 2 ranks of pipes and a harp. The two pipe ranks, a tibia and a kinura are commonly found in theater organs. It is a floating, enclosed division.

Why is there a big speaker at 5:17??

They added fake electronic ranks a while ago. That's probably what it is.

The celestial division and the bottom 12 notes of two of the 32' stops are digital - they've always been there. One of the videos even has the brochure pictured in it because it remains in one of the chamber rooms.

The speaker was used by the former organist to play sound effects.
