I know this is war time propaganda, but comparing the M3 against the Panther is like comparing a bar of soap against a medieval dragon-it's just unfair. I didn't even know the M3 was still in service when the Panther came around.

M3 and a Panther, even an M4 and a panther, isn't equal. Compare a Panther and a Pershing, that's more fair.

@Akke024 The Pershing was actually developed around the same time as the Panther, it just got delayed because of beaurucratic gungling. As for the M3, it's a completely different class of tank than the Panther. Compare the M3 and a contemporary such as the Panzer 2 or 3.

Why ?
The Pershing is end war 1945 , the earlier US tanks just sucked compared to the german counterparts of the time........

German tanks...best of the best...Pride of the Fatherland

Your just making things up, both the MAN and DB were given an order for a design for a new medium tank, the DB design never got beyond a wooden model as it quickly realised that the MAN design was better.
The MAN prototpye was already a Panther and not like you claim a T-34 with an iron cross.

@redreaper2020 The Pershing probably wasn't in service when this video was created.

@SVB222 Actually the Panther started development as a German-made copy of the T-34. It was called the VK3002 and was built by Daimler-Benz. The design was great, but they were afraid of friendly fire accidents due to the similar profile. The turret was moved back a bit and viola, you have a Panther. So yes, the Panther and the Russian T-34 are very closely related design-wise. The working prototypes of the Panther were nothing more than T34s with an iron cross and German-made guts.
There's a Tiger next to the M3...both of them Panther & Tiger are just great when working 2gether

@MegaKaiser45
yes, it is rather unique to see a Panther and a Tiger togheter in some same Video Material.
