@kath87md This song was written about the sectarian violence between England and Northern Ireland, catholic nationalists and protestant unionists

@Coruscant98 Yes, but I imagine the lyrics are ambiguous enough that the song could apply to other conflicts and wars as well.

Pardon the anorak comment here, but could that be Leland Sklar on bass?

Indeed it is! Sklar has played on several of Phil's albums, and a couple of his tours as well. It shouldn't surprise you. Sklar seems to have played with almost EVERYBODY! Check him out on Wikipedia and look at the discography. I was blown away. I've never known any musician who's played with so many other great musicians.
