Hit & Miss [Johi2410]

This instrumental was made famous by the notorious "John Barry Seven", including the great guitarist Vic Flick and (of course) arranger and conductor John Barry. It was released in 1960, and today is seen as one of the major influences for the arrangement of the James Bond Theme in the '62. Barry worked with a draft from composer Monty Norman and used his jazzy instrumental group (and, again, Flicks great guitar twang) to finish the theme within a week, of course using the influences of his previous recordings. So one of the most important predecessors of the most famous movie theme in history is "Hit & Miss", and here you'll hear my countryfied Esquire version of it, also introducing my Snare Drum, for the first time on video :D
