  • How was Obama - or even the government - involved in developing these guidelines, hobo59?

  • You have no fucking clue what you're talking about. You only wish these were some kind of "restrictions" being implemented.

These are "guidelines," which aren't rules, but suggestions. The science says that Mammography has been over-sold, and that 8 times as many biopsies are performed than are necessary because breast tissue in women age 40 is still to dense for the test to be effective.

Not that you care, you'll bitch and moan about Obama tomorrow, just like you did yesterday.

  • Seems Obama's boys thought Health care bill was a done deal and would be passed by now. So their restrictions are already showing up, earlier than they had planned. Just another gaff from this imbecile Obama. He's almost as stupid as the idiot who posted this video.

  • The state of "journalism".

    News for morons.

  • You bring only your opinion while "people like her" bring studies that take yrs to complete from specialist who deal with cancer everyday.

The recommendations in the study don't even seem all that scary to me. Starting at 21 and not just automatically getting screened every year but every three seems reasonable, unless you have some reason to reject the supporting stats.

This trend of arrogance of ignorance worries me

  • Prof of public health, a few books about rationing health care, risk/rewards of medical treatment. Seems like she has the background to claim herself an expert in this field.

You would think the fact that the guidelines for pap smears haven't changed since 1987 and that the ACS and other such groups support this study would be enough for some people.

And what if any power or influence do you have that would make your opinion more worthy then Prof Rothmans?

  • because?
