During spring break 2011, dozens of Nashville-area youth chose to spend their vacation working together to build a learning garden at Bethlehem Center, an inner-city family resource center. What started out as an empty grassy yard was transformed over a three-day period into a maze of 13 raised garden beds full of soil. During Global Youth Service Day on April 16th, youth will get the opportunity to plant seedlings in the soil and really see the garden come together. A special thanks to partners Good Food For Good People and Bethlehem Center for helping to make this garden possible!
