Waylands vocal characterizations were amazing as well as Madams's coordination.

I loved Wayland Flowers and Madame from the first time I saw them at Country Cousins restaurant in Fulham in the 1980s. That place is a great loss. It cost £6 for a (almost gross) 3 course meal but nobody went there for the food cos the cabaret was so good. We had Lorna Luft, Wayland flowers and Madame, Dolores Gray and so many others. In the audience were people like regulars Ronnie Corbet, Danny la Rue, Errol Brown. It was just fab!!
