  • I knew and played together with Max and Jim and the old Aces.

Now, more than 32 years later the new band is still superb!

    Bob from Canada

  • I think so too!

    Ulrich from Germany

  • Now this is something special!! they've got it going real good, and Jools.... you've developed so well into a super N.O. drummer,Im happy to have known you from your early days in jazz, well done,we need more young players coming on to keep this wonderful music alive. Thanks for posting.Im going looking for more like this 5 staqrs to all of you.

  • You lot speak rubbish!! The drummer is bloody brilliant! I only wish I could play half as well as that.... I saw them just recently with a different drummer, and they were no where near as good...

  • They ain't the Aces of old....but that kid drummer is terriffic...brings a lot of new life to a wonderful old band.

  • I dont agree totally with knulla08 about the drummer, and some of the solos are a bit too long making it feel a bit boring but otherwise its quite good and gets the old feet tapping, it is trad after all. By the way i didnt catch the name of his band, i would like to go along to see what perfection is like. He obviously knows all about music from his very technical review.

  • The best Red wing ever!

  • The drummer should keep in mind that LESS IS MORE! Check the simplicity of, for instance Paul Barbarin.

  • how can a drummer destroy one thing that is already boring :-) ?

  • Wonderfully played traditional jazz by all.Thanks.

  • A boring fucking tune. The damn drummer destroys...
