Skyrim - Stones of Barenziah, Prowler's Profit Perk

A test to measure the effectiveness of the Prowlers Profit Perk.

The Prowlers Profit Perk: Vastly Increases the chances of finding gems while scavenging dungeons.

(Spoilers)
How to obtain Prowler's Profit:
-Throughout your adventures you will find an 'unusual gem'.
-Upon taking the gem, the quest 'No Stone Unturned' will begin.
-You will either; Bring the unusual gem to an appraiser of stolen goods or Bring the unusual gem to Vex in the thieves Guild. The appraiser turns out to be Vex, contacted only through joining the Thieves Guild.
-Once you talk to Vex you will be set the objective of: Recover the Stones of Barenziah 24/24. (locations below)
-Return to Vex after uncovering all 24 stones.
-She will set the objective: Recover the Crown of Barenziah.
-The crown is in Tolvald's Cave, southwest of Riften.
-Return the Crown of Brenziah back to Vex and she will reward you with the Prowler's Profit Perk.

1 - Solitude; Proudspire Manor, in the master bedroom.
2 - Solitude; Blue Palace, on the shelf in Jarl Elisif the Fair's quaters.
3 - Thalmor Embassy; Elenwen's Solar, upstairs bedroom.
4 - Dainty Sload; Captains Quarters, on the small table.
5 - College of Winterhold; Arch-Mage's Quaters on a shelf, near the bed.
6 - Yngvild; Throne Room, in the chamber behind the throne.
7 - Hob's Fall Cave; Necromancer's sleeping area, on the table.
8 - Markath; Treasury House, in the master bedroom.
9 - Markath; Dwemer Museum, on a table in a locked side room (west).
10 - Dead Crone Rock; atop the alter next to the soul gem fire turrets
11 - Whiterun; Jorrvaskr, in Kodlak Whiteman's room.
12 - Whiterun; Hall of the Dead, one of the wall crypts, at the foot of a skeleton.
13 - Whiterun; Dragonsreach, Jarl's Quaters bedroom area
14 - Rannveig's Fast, trap fall, on a table near the watery prison trap.
15 - Fallglow Keep; on the counter in the workroom, atop the front foyer.
16 - Widhelm; Shatter-Shield Home, in the bedroom.
17 - Widhelm; Palace of Kings, on a table in Wuunferth the Unliving's quaters.
18 - Stony Creek Cave; alchemist/enchanter side cavern, turn at your first right.
19 - Ansilvund; Burial Chambers, near Fjori's Ghost.
20 - Sunderstone Gorge; at the Word wall, on the alter.
21 - Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary; atop Astrid's dresser, first left.
22 - Pinewatch; Pinewatch Bandit Sanctuary, in the locked treasure room.
23 - Riften; Mistveil Keep, in the Jarl's Chambers.
24 - Riften Hold; Black Briar Lodge, upstairs master bedroom.

this is crazy... in 2 minutes... he found 25 gems... not a spell... this is a perm bonus... i could use this... but WHERE the hell do i find all the gems to the crown... i have only found 2... and i have looked everywhere... caves... dark brotherhood... keeps... inns... ships... i guess i havent looked hard enough...

@HDuser100 Its the best dagger in the game! Same damage as a daedric dagger and the Blade of Woes! That is, assuming he doesn't have the daedric smithing perk...

Dude why you use this weapon? You anyway get one hit kills by sneak attacks and i think that tiny chance to insta kill is not worth it. Better pick a better dagger@
