@ferociousgumby What angers me more than anything is Tony being snubbed for an Oscar nomination for Psycho. His perf in that film is amazing. What a bunch of clueless snobs in the academy that year. I'll pass on your kudos to the actor. Thx again, 'ferocious'.
It was eerie to see and hear this, because it wasn't a caricature or overplayed at all. He seems to naturally inhabit Perkins and embody his highly unusual charm. Not an easy task, because he was essentially impossible to categorize (one of the reasons he found it hard to get parts that were worthy of him, NOT just the Norman Bates curse.) He was also intelligent at a level most people can't comprehend.
@HitRECjanae It was staged as a play 2 years ago. And there's conflicting stories on how they met exactly. I used what I got from actual articles dating back to the 1970s. This is meant as a tribute to Berry. A lot of the dialog is verbatim, the rest is artistic license.

Jesus! This guy is Tony Perkins reincarnated! He has the inflections, gestures, everything down, including the gangling giraffe walk
